Ignoring Red Flags
Warning signs and red flags are usually present in escalating situations but people so often go into denial.
They don't want to deal with awkward situations or doubt if their reactions are valid or if they are overreacting. But once something awful happens it's too late and all the regrets and wishes in the world won't turn back time.
If you know something is wrong, please have the courage to voice it firmly...repeatedly if necessary.
Worst case scenario, you were overreacting.
Best case scenario, you prevent that awful thing from ever becoming the tragedy you fear it may become.
One choice, you can live with.
The other may haunt you forever.
