Surviving Childhood Trauma
In order to survive childhood trauma, a child stops being shocked by every shocking event and eventually believes that it's normal.
In order to thrive in adulthood, that person has to undo not just the logical portion of how insane it was, but the emotional beliefs as well.
Otherwise, they'll find they recreate those awful emotional situations over and over again and sabotage happiness until it resembles the root familiar.
Examine your own adult relationship patterns, who you were drawn to and if they were painful, identify the belief that you must be holding as "truth."
Choose a more positive belief and know that you are valued and lovable. Reaffirm this every morning and every night and you will begin to be drawn to people and situations that support this belief.
Belief drives reality, and your choices make your life.
