The Forgiveness Difference
The Forgiveness Difference |
"I cannot accomplish something BECAUSE OF that person."
They feel that person or circumstance ruined them in some way and made them incapable of some good, desirable thing in life...a job, a loving relationship, happiness.
People who forgive say,
"I can accomplish something REGARDLESS of that person."
They feel that person or circumstance happened, but now it's over. Life can go on. They are still just as capable as they were before of good, desirable things in life. They do not let that person affect them anymore. They take control of their own life and their own happiness, and do not allow another person to rob them of great things that life has in store for them.
